If u wanna find out some info on vw's im ur guy, I know quite a bit as I've grown up round them. Currently I am restoring a Mk2 Golf GTI 8v and a Mk3 Polo Genesis 1.3

welcome to the site fella, good to have an enthusiast on here with regards to volkswagon, i am more into my fords and the odd jap piece but currently punt about in a MK3 golf.
do you currently drive?

there is currently a MK1 golf sat in the work shop of my mates, it is a bare shell atm but there is 4WD and over 600horses of VR-4 power going in it this is a better power to weight ratio than a bugatti veyron for an expample.
im sure 'psbarham' will tell you more as its in his work shop and the cars is not our but a friends who we are helping build.

i might see if we can get a few pics to post up with a thread on the build.

Yup there is a Mk1 shell in my workshop that is being seam welded and then caged before the 4wd gets dropped in and the new suspension is designed and built.

hopefully totb 2011 will be the target event

she's gonna be brisk.

what do you think to a thread on here based on the golf?

The Golf isn't mine i wish it ws, only put it on there til i upload a pic of ma MK2. The Air Cooled MK3 is in a Fast Car feature half way through the project whilst in PVW (Performance VW) it is complete.

I'll put sum pics on later it still looks stock but im just sorting it out so it passes its MOT so then i cn worry bout moddin it. pointless if it fails then wasted money.
